Eastwood Records is run by producer and engineer Myles Eastwood. Since graduating from Cambridge where he studied Music, Myles has worked on a wide range of repertoire from classical to bluegrass. His company offers remote recording, mixing and mastering services to musicians across the UK and abroad.

Clients include The New Yorker, Philharmonia Orchestra and The Corps of Army Music, with projects ranging from commercial CDs and audiobooks to live TV and cinema broadcasts, music videos and other promotional releases. Our recordings receive regular airplay on New York Public Radio, BBC Radio, Classic FM and Jazz FM. We also work in spatial audio and VR, providing ambisonic recordings and mixes for clients producing innovative 360° and VR content.

We have worked in a number of established venues including Metropolis Studios, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and King’s College Chapel. We also manage a recording studio in Cambridge which connects two acoustically-treated, soundproofed control rooms – suitable for voiceovers, overdubs, re-amping and 5.0 mixes – with various recording spaces, including the acclaimed West Road Concert Hall.

In 2015 Myles completed AHRC-funded doctoral research on the cultural history of postwar recording. The research involved original interviews with Grammy Award-winning producers and engineers who worked for EMI, Decca and other labels with artists as diverse as the Rolling Stones, Adrian Boult and Mia Farrow.
